Tentative plans involve collaborating with Patrick to translate the Giant Robo: Siege of Babel manga.
On the subject of Muv-Luv, I'm currently debating whether or not to continue Alternative.

ReplyDeleteI'm sure there's an audience for the Total Eclipse manga, especially since the anime is currently airing/ongoing. It'd be nice to see more translated chapters in the future, it doesn't look like any other group is doing it anyways.

I see that you have done work on translating MuvLuv, so I assume you are interested in the series.
Would you be interested in translating a Ligh Novel of MuvLuv?(This can be discussed, however I presume Total Eclipse)
Project can be undertaken as seprate project, or we can do it on Baka-Tsuki.

p.s. It would be interesting to see continuation of manga MuvLuv Alternative, even though I have played through the game, manga gives a different feel to it. If you are interested in continuing translating alternative I could help you with cleaning. I did some cleaning and editing bank in the day.

ReplyDeleteHowever I must apologize, for my Japanese is nowhere near proficient enough to translate the light novels (though I have the actual novels heh). It is difficult enough to translate manga which typically is less complex than a light novel.
However, I do have plans to continue the Alternative manga once I get a chance. At present, I am working two jobs and have very little free time.
It is great to know that Alternative manga will be continued!
DeleteLanguage is something you get better in if you practice it and translating manga definitely will improve your skill. I am sure in no time you will be good enough to translate novels ^^
